1. Go to the Start Menu and click All Programs > McAfee > McAfee Personal Firewall Plus.
   
   
   
2. If you have not already chosen the advanced menu, your screen may look like below. If it does, then click the "Advanced Menu" button located at the bottom left of the window. If you are already in this view, then skip to the next step.
   
   
   
3. Click "Configure" along the left. Then Click "Advanced" within the Alerts section of the Security Center Configuration box. 
4. Then click on the "Ignored Problems" Button from the Security Center Configuration Menu.
   

5. In the "Ignored Problems" Box, check the following:
   • "Phishing filtering is turned off"
   • "Firewall protection is disabled."

6. Then Select "OK"  

   

7. Click "Configure" along the left. Then click "Internet And Network" from the Configure Menu.
    
   
   
8. Click on the circle with arrows along the right next to the option labeled "Firewall protection is enabled."
   
9. Then click the "Off" option on Phishing and Firewall.
